stuny Posted April 22, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) At our favorite speed walking venue we see red foxes once every ten times, but at the early hour we go light is dim, and our shy subject is distant and on the move. North / Northwest Posted April 23, 2019 Share #3 Posted April 23, 2019 Nice work Stuart. It's always fun to get an image that takes many attempts. I wonder if the fox has seen you so often that it may feel a little less leery.
DwF Posted April 23, 2019 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2019 Nicely captured! I see these occasionally here out west but have never gotten one to slow and hang out long enough. My most recent was an encounter early morning in Boulder. I was just back in my car and the fox was lingering on the road ahead just yards but by the time I had my camera out all I got was his back-end jumping past the guard rail on the road.
