Viv Posted October 19, 2019 Share #101 Posted October 19, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I do not own an M10, although I used to have an M9. I have both a Q and a CL. Neither came with a plastic bottom. Does this mean that they are not real Leicas, incapable of giving the Leica GLOW? Should I be worried? Or feel deprived? Can I buy plastic bottoms for these cameras?

And yes, a faint shadow of the electronics label remains - should fade with time. Oh well, I was hoping to hear a clear „It WILL fade over time“ from someone who already did it a while ago. Now we can only hope Thanks anyway, I guess I will dare it soon! Can always get a sticker plastered replacement part in case I really need it. caimi Posted November 12 Share #103 Posted November 12 I have an M8 with the plastic still on the bottom and an M5 without. A related question: Why can't I find a slim plastic case for protection of the M5 body? There are leather ones of varying ugliness and/or priciness. There is a manufacturer who makes them for other M models but does not have one for the M5.
