wlaidlaw Posted August 16, 2022 Share #22  Posted August 16, 2022 Jaap, Do you happen to know if Panasonic L mount lenses update on a Leica CL/SL body? I would assume not and I would have to find someone with a Panasonic L mount camera to get my Panasonic 70-200mm lens updated. I believe there is at least one FW update for this lens, which I bought not long after it was released. Wilson

wlaidlaw Posted August 17, 2022 Share #24  Posted August 17, 2022 Both Leica and Panasonic are less than clear as to whether the Firmware update for example for the Panasonic 70-200 L mount lens will run on a Leica Camera. I am very reluctant to try running an FW update from a different manufacturer on my CL, as it might totally screw up that camera, unless both manufacturers state unequivocally that it is OK. I have downloaded the FW 1.2 for my 70-200 lens but feel it would be a big risk to run this. Wilson
