johnwolf Posted July 21, 2007 Share #5 Posted July 21, 2007 Just wonderful, Alexander. Love the repetition of pattern in the river and road. And the tonal change from foreground to background to sky. John
flavio Posted July 21, 2007 Share #6 Posted July 21, 2007 Alexander, Norway is really a wonderful Country. I was there 3 times and last summer I drove from Trønheim to Lom and then to Bergen having a very fine weather and watching an incredible beautiful landscape. I have published some of those pictures in my .mac site in my signature (sorry, no Leica machines). Your picture resembling to me something my family and I saw there. Thanks for sharing! I use to go in the small Hessdalen valley, close to Røros town. Do you ever been there?
atufte Posted July 21, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted July 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks everyone, i will try to post some more images from this beautiful place.... I think a lot of Norwegians live their whole life without ever seeing/knowing about this stunning scenery in their own country, which is a real pity, after all it took me 34 years to get there... :-)

billh Posted July 22, 2007 Share #11 Posted July 22, 2007 When I was a teenager my parents and younger brothers went to see your fjords. I stayed home because at that time girls were far more alluring that travel with my family. My father brought back stunning photos, and I have regretted missing that trip ever since. Our neighbors are with the Norwegian embassy, and they gave us a beautifully illustrated book on Norway. Your photo is a perfect example of the photos contained in this book.
