This is a view over Palermo in Sicily shot in digital infra-red with a 093 infra-red pass filter.  I particularly like the sunbeams playing on the city and its foothills and the brooding clouds above.

This big view needs a big presentation: a mega print on a white gallery wall. Echoes of Ansel Adams for sure. Hard to appreciate its full splendour on a small screen. Viewing with an iPad.

BTW, I often wonder how Adams would have responded to digital photography. Would he have embraced it or not?
