Popular Post farnz Posted December 23, 2018 Popular Post Share #1 Posted December 23, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Probably the last lens I would have considered using for a portrait would be a 10 mm hyper-wide lens but here's the result. I was in a very cramped cottage in the Black Country Museum in Warwickshire and the 10 mm was able to scoop in everything I wanted and dealt with the complex colour balance from daylight, candle light, and open fire exceptionally well I feel. While I'm aware that there are some imperfections I'm pleased with the picture. I wanted to show the subject in her surroundings as it would have looked 150 years ago. fotografr Posted December 24, 2018 Share #2 Posted December 24, 2018 This is a superb environment portrait. The lens choice was, in my opinion, the right one and I agree with you that the balance of different light sources was exceptional. Great job.
Graham (G4FUJ) Posted December 24, 2018 Share #3 Posted December 24, 2018 Very nice Pete. Difficult lighting that you have captured well. Didn't own Leicas when I have previously visited. You have given me some new ideas here. Looking forward to more photos.
StS Posted December 24, 2018 Share #4 Posted December 24, 2018 Another thumbs up for the lighting. The 10mm works again very well here. Stefan
