Construction at night. This is a continuing series.

35mm Summilux Asph. Titanium  1.4.  M10M 1/90. ISO 800. no filter. perspective guided.  SilverEfx3 wet rocks.

I recently obtained this used lens from Josh in Miami.  I had had the lens in black a decade ago when last I had an M. When I reentered the M world with an M10M, I was using the almost unlimited ISO to allow myself to acquire very compact lenses that were compact because they were slow. I tend to like very wide lenses wider than 35mm. But I wanted to have one fast lens, and the 35mm 1.4 is still pretty compact.  Yeah, I have a 2.0 APO on order but I bet it will be awhile before I get my APO delivered. In the meantime I am enjoying learning how to use this lens.  A wide open shot at night on an M10M is not necessary but I was curious how it would do versus a B&W conversion from a M10 P, so I wanted to have lower ISO. The B&W conversion is excellent, but no surprise, the M10M is visually better.  Thanks Josh,

Jack
