AlanT Posted December 18, 2018 Share #2 Posted December 18, 2018 Oh my! Extraordinary - I especially like the detail in the wing tips.
North / Northwest Posted December 18, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted December 18, 2018 Thank you Alan. Interesting you mention the wing tips. I've taken numerous images with blurred wing tips that end up deleted and never posted.

RayD28 Posted December 19, 2018 Share #6 Posted December 19, 2018 Wonderfull shot. I'm not familiar with the VL 114. Did you do much cropping?

You may want to checkout Stuarts bird images (STUNY) on this forum. He takes some very good examples of what the VL 114 can do in the hands of a skilled photographer. Pecole Posted December 20, 2018 Share #8 Posted December 20, 2018 Wonderful! It reminds me the one who flew quite close my glider for more than one minute, tens of years ago. Unfortunately, I had no Leica at hand...and it was too "bumpy" to leave the control, anyway.

Thank you Pecole. That must have been exciting being in the air along with the bird. What an experience!
