ajayk Posted September 22, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 22, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Tried this lens on my Leica M262. Results at f4 and above are great! At f1.1 a bit soft but beyond 2.8 very very sharp. Anyone else has tried this?

jaeger Posted September 22, 2018 Share #3 Posted September 22, 2018 I've been following that post but no backlid samples -- too bad. I bet purple fringing (CA) are all over.
pico Posted September 22, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 22, 2018 Why would we expect such a lens to be adequate? Its flaws might be virtues.
lct Posted September 23, 2018 Share #5 Posted September 23, 2018 I have no experience with the 7a 50/1.1 but if is is as good as the 35/2 from the same maker it must be difficult to beat indeed. Too bad f/1.4 is fast enough for me otherwise i would not hesitate to order this Chinese beauty.
LucisPictor Posted November 19, 2018 Share #6 Posted November 19, 2018 I do have the 1.1/50 and the 2/35 and I like both lenses a lot, on the M8 as well as on the M240. Really recommendable IMHO.
