Another night photo, shooting into the light. I've always thought of fluorescent light as ugly, conditioned by seeing the flat fluorescent light in shopping malls. However, shooting at night in Bangkok, in places where there are no street lights, and where the light comes from the fluorescent lights from shops and restaurants, I saw how beautiful the colors can be. Then, a cinematographer told me about the handheld fluorescent cine lights.

 

The picture below was shot with the M9 and Elmarit-21 ASPH lens, at ISO640, f/2.8 and 1/90 sec.
