wparsonsgisnet Posted September 5, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 5, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had to run and get my camera this morning when I saw the way the sunlight played on the porch and into the house. The light on the ceiling is a reflection from the glass table and the spill on the floor is natural. The shading and variety of sun-illuminated surfaces took my breath away. The M(240) with 35 'lux fle do a pretty good job of capturing the magic. Capturing magic might as well be Leica's anthem. Regards to all, Bill Welcome, dear visitor! abrewer Posted September 5, 2018 Share #2 Posted September 5, 2018 We're entering into that time of the year when the light in the Northern Hemisphere is indeed magical in its effect. Wonderful photograph, BIll. Thanks for sharing.
otto.f Posted September 5, 2018 Share #3 Posted September 5, 2018 Capturing the magic indeed! The photo has so much depth in it too, which I see also as a typical Leica trait
wparsonsgisnet Posted September 6, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted September 6, 2018 (edited) I'm working on this image. I tuned it up a bit and fixed the vertical orientation, then cropped it a bit. It prints nicely. After I look at it a while, I'll make a 17x29 print for exhibition. Y'all come to my (second) solo photo exhibit in the Spring, in Cambridge (MA, USA, of course; the "other" Cambridge). I think this one comes indoors a bit more. Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted September 6, 2018 Share #6 Posted September 6, 2018 These are delightful, Bill, but most of all it's good to see you posting again. You're well I trust? How about some more details on your exhibition?
otto.f Posted September 6, 2018 Share #7 Posted September 6, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Something of the magic has gone in the second version, IMO. It seems you want to emphasize the reflection of the table at the ceiling but it is clear enough in it’s subtlety in the first Edited September 6, 2018 by otto.f
