Hi there - I sent it to our approved Leica repair centre here in Australia (Camera Clinic in Melbourne).  it was reasonable price maybe AUD150 (just over 100 USD.  Although it took 2-3 months for the part to arrive from leica which was beyond their control

Posting in Film thread but also here for fun.  I had a lot of issues loading this roll onto the reel, the film ended up sticking together which I think is why these sprocket marks are on the image.

35:1.4 v2  & M6 TTL. Ilford HP5+
Will work on the scan and edit at some point

Sprockets and the sunglasses sync up well!  And the geometry of the cleavage haha. A lot to enjoy with this image.

Not to barge in, but you can get a metal replacement part you can install yourself from a website called shapeways. I did mine and it took about 10 minutes and I believe it will last longer than the cheap plastic. Of course it isn’t Leica original, but I don’t have lenses to look at, I have them to look through.  If you do a google search you can find images on how to actually do it.
