Surf Day - shot from quite a ways. I could have walked in much closer but didn't feel like it. The files from the SL3 are very very nice to work with. The combination of 90-280 and SL3 is working well.

SL3, 10 stop Nissi ND filter on the big VE 90-280

First of a project seeking out painterly qualities while using long exposures and the exceptional detail of this lens. Be good if Leica made the 1.4 magnification adapter for this lens right about now.

This lens is one of my favourites as well and like you would love a magnification adapter.  Nice wok love the effect how did you do it ?

Great to hear your SL3 is close Ross, it's been a long wait. Yesterday was the first occasion I used a new Nissi ND filter x 10 stopper with the 90-280. The image you replied on was a 1 second exposure so it's a matter of slowing it down to find the kind of movement that gives an interesting effect. I am after a painterly effect or something surreal 😀. Like combining bokeh with long exposures and variations to find something that works, if I can that is! So far it's just me experimenting. Using the 10 stopper with this lens is a bit tricky but I think Im on the right track and no light leakages yet. I will shoot anything that moves. 😄

Yes, the forest is green

Indirect light takes on the color of that which is reflecting it.  One can correct for it, but then the subject no longer looks like it did in when photographed.  I tend to correct for it but understand why some do not.

Great shot but I'd have used the white balance tool on his breast.

If I may take the liberty -thus -
