Louis Posted August 14, 2018 Author Share #3  Posted August 14, 2018 Beautiful, it is amazing what the little 18-56 can do. Bill, thanks a lot. 18-56 is a great lens and so practical for trave. I had a few great Nikkor MF lenses with me but never touched them. In low light or at night, I am using SF 24D that is old and I bought very cheap as used.  When I was shooting this flower, I suddenly saw a butterfly coming into my frame and I got excited to have it on the flower for a photo. But I realized the butterfly had a head and something that looked like a bick. I moved my head from the camera to see what it was. As soon as I realized it was a tiny humming bird, it flew away with the speed of a bullet and I couldn’t shoot it. It was the first time I was seeing a humming bird in person and was very impressed.
Bill W Posted August 14, 2018 Share #4  Posted August 14, 2018 That would have been something to see the humming bird on the flower. We have fed them for years and have an abundance of them most of the year till it starts to get cold. They fight over the feeder all day long but some times agree to all sit down and feed and there will be 4 or 5 of them getting a drink.
