david strachan Posted July 27, 2018 Share #4 Posted July 27, 2018 (edited) Nice pics Stuart. Really like the social interaction in the last image. It was a smart move to introduce Duplo too. Our young grandchildren love it. ... Edited July 27, 2018 by david strachan
stuny Posted July 27, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted July 27, 2018 Allan - thank you. I remember Lincoln Logs, though I didn't have them - My best friend Bobby Allen did, as well as a superb Lionel train set - His parents were relatively young, and Bobby had toys which his father shared with him. David - thank you, and I agree re: Duplo
StS Posted July 29, 2018 Share #6 Posted July 29, 2018 Friends from university still buy them, a hobby, they can share with their son. There are some Lego kits, which are way too complicated for children. Stefan
Toshack10 Posted July 29, 2018 Share #7 Posted July 29, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Point of order; Lego is itself a plural, so the S is superfluous. (I know this as my living room, a bedroom and our den are call covered in the stuff. I recently spent 3 hours queuing to buy a James Bond DB5 set, signed by someone from Aston and the Lego designer. The queue was pretty much universally AFOL - Adult Fans of Lego. My son, who is now old enough to know better, is a huge Lego fan and has set his heart on working for Lego. In Denmark. He's studied Danish every day for a year on Duolongo to give him a headstart. He's 12)
