Shuttercount Posted July 23, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 23, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all. Im Charles from Dublin , Ireland. I just signed up here as i just finally retired after a long 49 year career in the radio entertainment industry . Me first and biggest passion has always been photography and I have started doing a lot more work of it lately. Until about 10 years ago it was always a canon man, but then my father in law introduced me to the wonderful world of Leica. Currently I own an M9 and a M10 and a nice collection of lenses. The M10 is my little girl and is also treated as such. I hope I will be able to contribute and learn myself here on the board and als have a lot of fun. Best wishes to all God bless Charles

Eoin Posted July 23, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2018 Hi Charles, Welcome to the forum from a fellow Dub and congratulations or commiserations on the retirement . All that extra free time for photography .... I'm a little jealous. M10 is a fantastic advancement in the Leica M line and I'm delighted with mine. Best wishes and maybe we'll bump into each other one day. Eoin

JayBird Posted August 7, 2018 Share #6 Posted August 7, 2018 Hi Charles, We had a great time in Dublin in 2003. We were there to look at Trinity College Dublin with our son. His mother and I decided he would have too good of a time there. So he went to St. Andrews instead. There he learned to enjoy single malts.
