For the A+F screwdrivers, the normal place to source these is either a specialist small tool supplier (www.micro-tools.de) who I think also have a US outlet or a wholesale jeweller's sundries supplier. I use https://www.cousinsuk.com/product/af-swiss-stainless-steel-18978a but I am sure their equivalent in other countries exists. I think that sometimes Amazon stocks them as well. For Japanese cameras you will probably need cross head screwdrivers as well. Difficult to say what sizes you will need. I have 0.3mm up to 3.0mm. Once you have a kit of these superb quality screwdrivers, you would probably find you use them for all sorts of things. A+F also do cross head as well as slot head drivers. Leica use all sorts of weird size screws like 1.7 and 1.2mm. What I did when I started playing with cameras over 50 years ago was to buy some totally broken cameras, including at the time a couple of Leicas, at photo fairs and take them to pieces, so that I have a number of Tupperware containers with metric, JIS and BA screws, springs, and assorted parts. The other tool that is essential is a pair of anti magnetic tweezers and also a pair of very small crocodile nose surgical forceps is very useful for holding items when you can't get fingers in and also for removing tiny shreds of film. https://tinyurl.com/4sne3hpa

@nitroplait Thanks I will look it up. Do you know what specific sizes I should get?

Plus (+) size 0 is most used. + size 00 is good to have. It is very useful to have both a short and long of each - a wise tip from Richard Haw.

I bought a lovely wooden box of the A+F screwdrivers the next day at a shop in Zurich (Uhren-Borse or something like that). They were sadly stolen from a cupboard in my office at work, along with two Minox cameras, so I now just have the same screwdrivers but in plastic packets.

Have you seen this? Interesting is, that they offer their tools in English and in romanic languages. Not in German!?

I don't know if it has changed but you had to set up a trade account with A+F with bank payment arrangements, whereas I could buy from Cousins in the UK with Paypal. I see that Cousins are now out of stock of A+F screwdrivers, like much of the UK is out of stock of anything coming from Europe. The lunacy of Brexit is really beginning to bite.

I have to go up to London next week to see the French Consulate to persuade them, ever so kindly, to grant me a long stay non-resident homeowner visa, for the modest cost of just €99 per annum, so I can go to my French house from the end of April to the beginning of October this year as I try to do every year. The UK grants EU residents automatic 6 month stays post-brexit but only negotiated 3 month non-visa stays in the EU in return - a really good negotiating job chaps - well done 😡😡 !

I have told Bobo the clown, in person, my opinion of him. I think I was struck off the No.10 invite list some time ago.

I bought a set of these ones after a recommendation in a previous thread about screwdrivers.
