How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Took a trip to a (reasonably) local geothermal area yesterday. Shot plenty with my R8 and Astia, but also took my SL2 (digital) and used the R 21~35mm and R 35~70mm lenses.

I was really surprised by the sharpness of the 180mm Apo-Telyt 3.4 together with the Apo 2x extender. 1/640, F8.0, ISO100.

When zoomed in at 200% in LR you could read the numbers on the crane above the head of the crane driver.

Taken with SL2, also a tribute to its IBIS, it was handhold.. Distance ca. 135m

Happy with the combo Keith? I recently capitulated and bought a near new one (R21-35 I mean), and have wondered about using it on the M11-P (although I don't have the Visoflex) I tried it on the SL2 (digital) briefly, with mixed slightly out of focus results. Needs more trialing I think.
