An engaging portrait and a smile way better than the Mona Lisa!

A comfortable degree of softening that flatters the subject.

Overall, a pleasing result.

Great image. I love the window glass bokeh added to the image. A magical blend of great and fantastic. That particular lens is one of my all time favourites..And you composition and timing is pretty damn good too!

erl - Thank you for your kind words - my 80 R Lux is one of my favorite lenses for the SL2-S - it is in constant battle with my 75 Summilux - I am a big fan of all f/1.4 Summilux lenses.

In leu of venturing down to the river in this frigid weather, I built a small puddle alongside my house using a garbage bag and the rocks from our landscaping to try and get some ice photos.  After a few tries, I got these.  Nikon Z7ii + Leica R 100/2.8 APO Macro.  These are stacked images.  7 in the first one and 14 in the second one.  ISO 160, F/8, 1/13 sec.  That lens still performs well on a 45MP sensor.  View them large.
