Stonewall Brigade Posted June 26, 2018 Author Share #5  Posted June 26, 2018 Very good. So,R lenses plus leica R to M adaptor? Any leica macro spacer to extend the subject to sensor distance? What Raw processor do you use. I shoot RAW always and process with Capture One Pro 11. For flower macros I almost always use a tripod, ISO 100, around f/8 aperture, and the M10's s 2-second shutter release. I have the Leica R to M lens adapter, which has a built in tripod mounting foot with the Arca-Swiss mounting plate. I have also had great success with a Nikkor 180mm AIS ED f/2.8 and a Fotodiox Nikkor to Leica R lens adapter (around $40).

Resize to 1280 pixels max on the longest edge, set JPG compression to 500 KB max (if you use LR you can do this in the export dialogue) and save on your desktop. Don't forget to specify sRGB. In posting, click "more reply options" and you'll find the upload dialog at the bottom of the page. Select the image,  attach the file, position the cursor in the text and add the file to your post.
paulsydaus Posted June 26, 2018 Share #8 Â Posted June 26, 2018 I've always found carrying around a spray bottle filled with water works wonders for these types of shots ;-)

Stonewall Brigade Posted July 2, 2018 Author Share #11 Â Posted July 2, 2018 Really great shots! Thx for sharing! May I ask how you fix the focus? EVF or LCD screen? Waiting for more ;-) Â With R lenses on the M10, I have to use the M10's "focus peaking" method (I prefer red or blue color) which is generally very reliable and accurate focusing.
