They still are excellent, giving me a nice control of the shallow background, etc. They are also very fast, but not always very convenient for street photography. My only native lens is the excellent Vario Elmar-T 18-56. It is small, sharp and has a fast AF, which is very helpful for travel and street photography. But it is also a very slow lens. Lately, I noticed I am using this lens more often than in the past. Maybe I am getting more lazy? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
