How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 1000 kB (2000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Hello Aryel,

normally, I don't have critics on poster photos,

but I would like to see this one without "warmtone".

(I can simulate with this one + software 😇 in plain b&w),

just to say that this warmtone deserves (for me ! ) this otherwise nice/strong image.

 

This "critic" (not really) is for you to give it a try or not, sorry for that (I'm fan of plain b&w, meaning noir&blanc in french).

Hello,

One reason for me to post pictures is to get critical feedback.  So by all mean nothing to be sorry about.

I just played with the photo of the photo to get an idea of what it would look like without the warmtone, I think it is an excellent idea actually. Made me realize that trying to emphasize the black of the suit on one side and the white shirt on the other would come stronger without the chocolate tones.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it. Will give it a shot next printing round. Will update in a couple of days. In the mean time, let's rename this one "Chocolat et Blanc".
