One day the kids discovered a drinking fountain. Fun with water! Of course they all ended up soaked, but who cares? 😁

Same film, same gear.

No, it's not the camera, it's the scanner. After I developed the film I was so eager to see the results, that I used the only scanner I happened to have on hand - a Kodak Scanza. Big mistake.🙁

In the meantime I got a proper scanner - a Plustek 8200i SE. The files I posted were made with it. The Scanza is going to the bin.

Interestingly, the Scanza is so crappy that I didn't even know it scratched the films until I scanned them with the Plustek. The scratches weren't visible in its low resolution files. 😂

I was planning to make some darkroom prints. But with those scratches, I think I'll pass. I can fix scratches in a digital image, but retouching silver gelatin prints isn't one of my skills.

I don't think of myself as a bah humbug person.. but I usually hurry past this shop in my local town (Shrewsbury), as Christmas for me starts mid december but this one trades year round.  XP2 400 (shot at 200 - by mistake), Bessa R2 CV 75.

I don't think of myself as a bah humbug person either.... but everyone else does 🤨

M4-P with 21mm Super-Angulon f/3,4 and orange filter. Ilford Pan400 developed in HC-110 (B) for 6 mins.

edit: This really needs to be seen in lightbox mode (by clicking on the image), it looks terrible otherwise.
