How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 1000 kB (2000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Canal and field near Throp, Washington

Leica MP w/50mm Summicron on Ilford HP5+ dev. in Rodinal 1:25 and scanned on Plustek 8200.  I messed up the development as the temperature was too warm resulting in very dense negatives, hence the exaggerated grain in scanning.

      ...I am particularly fond of electric blue and love it when it is properly translated via colour negative film. Nice work. Well done.

Thank you! The lighting in that particular room was incredible and bounced really nicely off the white paint and chrome trim pieces of that old Cadillac. It was really quite pretty in person.

Model is lit camera right by Profoto B1X with an Elinchrom Rotalux modifier attached (I swear by this combination). Using a Leica MP with a 75mm APO (the second image with a 35mm Summicron ASPH II). Kodak Vision3 250D film that has been ECN-2 processed.
