You mean TriX?

The above photos are Tri-x but I was writing about the developer I used. I thought the Rodinal was too grainy and prefer the finer results yielded by the HC110. Of course I've only just started developing myself so this is in no way conclusive.

This is from my first roll developed using HC110, which seems to be yielding much nicer results than Rodinal.

These are wonderful.  Thanks for posting examples using HC110.  Did you do much cropping?  I ask because of how it can magnify grain.

Thanks!

The top one wasn't cropped. The second was slightly rotated to straighten it and then cropped. Here is the original scan:

I developed in HC100 at 1+95 using undiluted concentrate, for 14 minutes @ 20°C. I can't really be of any help regarding agitation as I us a Rodinax which required constant rotation.

Like the bokeh in the bus window. It just adds the right mood.

Wonderful photo!  Was she a model?  If not, what was the setting?

Thanks!!!!  A dancer (ballet, tell by the front leg on toe). She was doing a shoot for publicity for her dance group (Wilder Project, Holly Wilder), and they let me take some shots too .... will send her a few that came out okay. Always my deal -- free shots, just want the name credit..
