david strachan Posted April 23, 2018 Author Share #6 Â Posted April 23, 2018 Alan, Bill and Stuart...thank you. Â Stuart, yes they are. And boy do they screech... within 10m the sound really hurts my ears. Â Such a joy to watch bird antics in the garden, and find new birds when travelling. Â All best... hoppyman Posted April 23, 2018 Share #7 Â Posted April 23, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Iconic members of our Aussie Avian family David. We have built a new home adjacent to some natural reserve and are trying to encourage the local residents currently. We have a loyal and fearless band of magpies already (the kind without white backs ;-). I need to take the CL to the deck for morning coffee. As soon as they see a human coming they sprint to land nearly on you and sing for their breakfast snacks.
david strachan Posted April 23, 2018 Author Share #8 Â Posted April 23, 2018 Hi Geoff My favourite bird, i think. I love their caroling, and family groups. They love mince meat.
