I bought some of my photographic equipments from B&H without any issues and they are one of the biggest stores in the United States

Same here. I have been going to B&H for all photo equipment by default for many years now without every having any problems (mostly Canon gear over the years), until this time when I bought the Q at Leica SOHO.

Interestingly enough, last night I decided to also order the Leica Q grip, but Leica SOHO don't have it while B&H does. And so does Amazon, but for $160 vs $125 at good old B&H (of course I can't put my order in now because of the holidays, but that's fine - they do follow holiday schedules religiously at B&H. :)

B&H is my first go-to for all photographics.

But a question - how do I, or can I deal with them to return a lens to Leica for correction?

.

Good question.  I don't know about many authorized dealers, but it would be great if they had more influence in getting new Leica equipment repaired.  I bought new M a couple of years ago that had a circuit board problem and the dealer (not B&H) was useless.  I called them about Leica's slow responses to my inquiries and the dealer chuckled and said it unfortunately normal and that he was sorry for the frustration.  Does B&H have enough muscle to get Leica to respond to B&H customers?  Or, does B&H have a policy to switch out a defective piece of new equipment and return it to Leica?

I guess it depends on the dealer. I've purchased most of my Leica equipment from Popflash in Los Angeles. When the M9M was off on its sensor journey, Tony offered to call and check where in the queue it was and if it could be hastened. So I guess it depends upon what relationship the dealer has with Leica. Tony Rose also gets a fair share of QM2 equipage so I imagine he may have a better relationship than most.

Might be stupid questions, but who is tony rose and what is QM2 equipage?

Tony owns Popflash, and is a reputable dealer.

QM2 signifies Leica product that has some minor blemish, typically that is undetectable, with full warranty but at a discount.

It should be noted that Popflash often sells brand new Leica gear (not QM2) at a discount, even though it is advertised as ‘mint used’. This is because Leica does not officially allow dealer discounts on new gear. I believe Popflash sometimes works this out by buying in volume.

Popflash, which exists only on the web, will also have factory refurbished units with partial warranty; about a month ago, they were selling a silver M10 with a 1-year passport for US$5800 (I tipped off a friend who was looking). He seems to land these more often that others, again, likely a function of his personal relationship with the Mothership. Ken Hanson is another smaller player who was once a notable NY City brick & mortar reseller but now without so much as a website; in fact, he can only be reached by email.

So if I were to buy "Used-Mint" out of the Pre-owned section of the Popflash website, would this be without the Leica warranty?  I see that I could easily save $1,000 on an M10 plus Summilux lens, but that's not necessarily a good deal if you give up the warranty support.

Postscript:  Well, I guess I have answered my own question.  A number (maybe all) of the Used-Mint products on the Popflash website say that the Leica USA warranty is included.

It comes with full warranty, as new, not in the pre owned section.. Call to confirm actual item, as they may also sell some used mint gear, which is truly used. They can be trusted....speak to Tony or Alex.

You do have to call him for the specifics .

Tony is a most personable fellow and a straight-shooter. True second hand are listed in 8 or 9/10 and scrupulously described. Other items in the pre-owned listings were returned to him spotless, after a short perusal (you have 7 or 14 days to return—can’t recall exactly) or brief use and never registered. While others, like the M10 mentioned, were factory refurbished and are essentially new as well. There is probably volume excess he handles on behalf of Leica. Who knows, but using a smaller reseller has its advantages like a courtesy call when a desired piece arrives and may be steeply discounted (like QMII items—you’ll be hard-pressed to find the cosmetic flaw). I bought a 50APO this way, it had a tiny pit on the aluminum case, barely noticeable but discounted accordingly as a QMII.

Agree, I have dealt with Tony and Alex on many occasions and they are great. If their item says used mint, it probably has never been on a camera and there are not even finger prints on it....!!

And if so, the ad specifically says “never been mounted on a camera”, as in my above link. These are new discounted items that are listed as such only because of Leica pricing policy, not because of any minor flaw or prior use.
