With edges at 12mm no wonder how such marvelous results can be achieved for sure but competitors must be coke bottles then :D. Just kidding.  

I also don't believe that Scientists discovered Higgs Boson. :D

 

Not that Cicala is a scientist but I don't understand the methods of both his and the guys at CERN. It is true. :)

 

BTW, has he been challenged on LensRentals about this?

12 mm is quite usual in lens measurements.

Actually, Rogers figures may be quite correct. @ 100% contrast the MTF curve of the Summicron is completely flat up to 12 mm. (See Erwin Puts Leica Compendium).
