mikemgb Posted February 28, 2018 Share #6 Posted February 28, 2018 (edited) I love foxes, a terrible moment I still remember was when one ran out in front of my car and I hit it. I stopped immediately but it was able to get up and run, I have hoped since that it recovered. Edited February 28, 2018 by mikemgb
stuny Posted February 28, 2018 Author Share #7 Posted February 28, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mike, Wally & David - Thank you. I see both red and gray foxes nearby every now and then, and Manhattan has both foxes and coyotes, animals which compete for prey. The foxes tend to stay further from people than coyotes, so they seldom encounter one another.

stuny Posted March 2, 2018 Author Share #9 Posted March 2, 2018 Al - Thank you. Barbara spotted him about 20 meters away. I had to pursue it on a parallel course for a few minutes before I could get a clear shot of it.
