stuny Posted January 19, 2018 Share #3 Posted January 19, 2018 Gorgeous. Did you use any light painting on the ice in the foreground? I suspect not.

Guest Posted January 24, 2018 Share #10 Posted January 24, 2018 I see you are using the Ultra filters ... do you find the colors improved? My Ken K Ultra Signature kit is flying in from the UK ... none in stock in the US. Hoped they had a Vieri B kit ... could not locate it but you are significant in my desiring and purchasing the kit. Thanks, and I love the picture. Bob
Vieri Posted January 24, 2018 Author Share #11 Posted January 24, 2018 I see you are using the Ultra filters ... do you find the colors improved? Thanks, and I love the picture. Bob Hello Bob, the regular Firecrest were already extremely neutral (unlike the old Format filters). The Ultra are even better, especially as far as sharpness goes, and especially with longer lenses (the longer the lens, the more evident the gain in sharpness). I just LOVE them. I hope you used the VIERIB10 code at checkout for your purchase for a 10% discount, if not try and let FH know that you forgot to put it in and see if they'll credit the discount back to you About the Vieri B filter kit, I asked FH to make one - we'll see if and when that will happen! I am very happy that my work inspired you to get the Ken K kit - no mater all the possibilities of digital, for me filters still rule for landscape photography! Vieri Posted February 27, 2018 Author Share #13 Posted February 27, 2018 Ready to buy Firecrest Kit and wondering what the Vieri B Kit would include. Your amazing pictures have been the big influence. I have the SL Zooms looking forward to SL 16-35. Any kit advise much appreciated. Thanks for the coupon code. Hello MarkinVan, first of all thank you for your kind words about my work, I am glad you found it of inspiration About the kit, I think I would definitely add a 1.2 and (or) a 1.5 stop Grad ND to the Kaminesky kit, and take out the 0.6 which is IMHO almost never used. As well, I might add a darker ND, such as a 13 stop. My ideal kit is: Grad ND: 0.9, 1.2 and 1.5 stop; ND: 3, 6, 10 and 13 stop; Polariser Reverse grads are also useful at times, and I would go for 0.9 and (or) 1.2. Hope this helps!
