Â When mounting Elmar or Elmar-M collapsed, as there is some play, the rear of the lens mount may touch the roller in the body... or other parts inside. When it is mounted collapsed, and the tube is past the mount flange, the tube may hit the throat of the camera ahead of the shutter and damage it.
