jmahto Posted December 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) They migrate thousand of miles.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarch_butterfly_migration400mm Telyt 6.8 on Nex-6. On a related note, I was thinking of replacing my Nex-6 with CL but realized that tilt screen is so much better for focusing and framing without arching your back and neck in uncomfortable position. CL is no go for me now. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! stuny Posted December 4, 2017 Share #5 Posted December 4, 2017 A lovely set, and it's good to see you. My favorite is #3.
jmahto Posted December 4, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted December 4, 2017 A lovely set, and it's good to see you. My favorite is #3. Thanks. It is interesting that many of my friends like #3 as well but it is not my favorite. Somehow I am really bad in visualizing a vertical composition. I tend to like 16:9 (as in other two). I have to refine my sense of aesthetics I guess. BTW, I realized that 400mm Telyt has a mechanism to quickly change from landscape to vertical. That's how I shot #3. jmahto Posted December 4, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted December 4, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) One more as I make progress in PP. This one is using X2 APO with 400mm Telyt. Merge of two side by side shots to give wide aspect ratio. There was a huge amount of CA after pushing the files for color and removing them fully affected the color. It was still possible to go to photoshop and remove the color fringes manually but I don't have that much patience. Welcome, dear visitor! North / Northwest Posted December 9, 2017 Share #9 Posted December 9, 2017 Thanks. It is very common for the photographer to prefer an image other than the image most liked by viewers. The set is very good and one to be proud of. The detail and color are first rate.
