Sheesh... Why did you sell your SL? It is about the only option for your requirements. I'm not convinced that the 28/5.6 will deploy its full character on a Sony, the sensor simply is not adapted to Leica wideangles. Nor to other RF lenses, but it probably won't show on your Noctilux, depending on how critical you are.

I would say, swallow your seller's remorese and get another SL.

There are thin filter stacks conversions available that do a terrific job cleaning op those corners.

Hope they stock M10 diopters (different size than for earlier models due to larger eye opening).

Jeff

forgot about them Jeff. I’ve just WhatsApp him to see if they have a +1 the same I had on my M240

Try different strengths if possible. Eyes change, and the M VF is different, although the 2m virtual focus patch distance is unchanged.

Do you have any astigmatism?

Jeff

He told me that he was bringing a selection to the shop, which makes me think they are the ones for the older M

Yes I think I do have that, I will sometimes pick up the phone then wonder who was I going to call......

But you will still be stuck with a cyclop computer.

Even with a thin filter stack - which will help a bit-, the microlenses will not be adapted to the wide incidence angles encountered in some RF lenses.

Neil is like the clown of this forum, I think he's had 10 Leica SL's 10 Noctiluxes, 10 M cameras, 10 Leica S cameras, and 100 times remorse of selling it.

And of course all the Leica lenses we've never heard of:

Summerlux

Sumilon

Summercrome

lists goes on...

I never get it, because he does take nice photos too!

Mr Woo has got the new M10 Dyopters +1, +1.5, +2.............but No stock of the M10.

Ive now got morel isseus. I can by a M10 in the UK for equivalent RM29000 including shipping and GST Mr woo sells them for RM33000 but says he can give me a special price of RM31500 that's about USD600 more. If the new M10 hits all the right spots with my Noctilux then I will just buy from Mr Woo and try and help a buddy :) :)

Peter

Theres also the issue of the unreliability of the M's so if I buy in the UK and have a problem then for sure Mr Woo is going to say send it to the UK and get them to fix it..............I'm okay with taking care of Mr woo, will just mean taking a weekend off of the piss and that will pay the difference
