I really can’t understand. On the first picture, how you suggest to avoid the light? I see a regular place for shooting w/out direct light or I miss something?

If you mean my picture above it was a wall covered with ivy. The sun was above the wall outside of the frame so we cannot see it in the pic. But it was not far enough from the frame to avoid the flare effect. I should have moved myself or the camera to avoid that.
