Keek Posted October 5, 2017 Share #1 Â Posted October 5, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) How long red digits and frames in the viewfinder are lighting after push the trigger? In M9 they were fade after few seconds. In my M10, they are lighting until the camera will be automatically off in 2 minutes.

jaapv Posted October 6, 2017 Share #3 Â Posted October 6, 2017 Does it matter? If you are worried about power drain, these Little LEDs consume virtually nothing.

SARobinson Posted October 6, 2017 Share #5 Â Posted October 6, 2017 Mine always has the red LEDs on - it displays the ISO when I switch it on and keeps that display until I press the shutter when it changes the display to shutter speed, which displays until the camera switches off.
jip Posted October 6, 2017 Share #6  Posted October 6, 2017 No your M10 is faulty better return it and go back to the M9, since it clearly won't be able to take photos accurately this way.
Tailwagger Posted October 6, 2017 Share #7  Posted October 6, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am just courius. And I wonder if it's the same in the other M10s.  Not only is it the same with other M10s, but its the same  as the M240.  Makes perfect sense to me, given the frame lines are illuminated.  I wouldn't want to half press to bring them up  if they went down while I was sitting there waiting for something to move into the frame.

May I suggest refraining from posting at all in response to a question you obviously deem nonsensical, instead of posting a seemingly jocular, yet imho simply rude reply...

M11 for me Posted October 8, 2017 Share #13 Â Posted October 8, 2017 @keek: What do you mean by "push the trigger"? Is that switching the camera off? When I do so then the LEDs switch off immediately.
