This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. Thanks, Lex - very kind. The Cinestill film is new to me. I've only shot one roll so far. I think it's essentially a tungsten-balanced film, which resolves a lot of halation around highlights. It might end up being something of a gimmick, which gets old fast. But I do like that new film emulsions are becoming available.

March 2018 - Glasgow. Unusually harsh winter weather, dubbed 'the beast from the east' blew in from Siberia. Glasgow rarely sees snow, it's usually a year round light drizzle.
