This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. Hello Toodys, I am not sure whether you recognise how posting on the Forum can be a great learning experience with regards developing ones photography skills and forming  individual styles? Over time I have found it a great source of learning to post images and reflect on improvements and with developing my work. It's hard not to be involved in that kind process with photography. I usually assess my images and recognise others very good work here which in turn assists my own work.

I am my own greatest critic here but most of all I can be flexible enough to change and adapt my style for the better (I think).  I would say that most photographers here adopt that kind of experiential learning, even if it's quietly going on in the background. I can get a sense of how my own and others image making skills are truly benefiting from this process. I generally look at thousands of images every week and I have a context from which to base my self critiques. You may have a similar process? If not, I would strongly suggest that you find a way to approach this valuable learning tool to achieve the best possible outcomes for your photography.
