The Summaron 35/2.8 is such an under rated lens. Although prices are creeping up so perhaps its quality is being appreciated.

The Summaron 35/2.8 is such an under rated lens. Although prices are creeping up so perhaps its quality is being appreciated.

I really like my 35mm Summaron. It's a great lens for mono photography, either on film or M Monochrom. It's so sharp, but without the super high contrast of some modern aspherical lenses.

 

I sometimes have a look to see what used lenses Red Dot in London have. They never seem to have the 35/2.8, so maybe people are hanging onto their copies these days.
