Apparently good enough for making the Blockhouse pattern. 3800 Euros won't get you the box. $6599.00 plus accessories. I thought Leica accessories were high until I saw Bernina. I was there when Grandpa gave her a motorized Singer. He was so proud. I was far to young to understand the exchange, but I know it took Grandma a couple of months to relegate the pedal version to the basement. Grandma taught my mother how to make clothes, for which we were all grateful for in our youth. An aside which perhaps I mentioned long ago - in our little local pub of labor workers the subject of home made clothes arose and to my surprise four of the fifteen patrons, all men, said they had sewing machines and made or repaired their clothes.
