I had assumed that the top panel would be stable for longer than the others and would refresh on some monthly-driven anniversary date or else, on a rolling basis, once a picture has gone beyond, say, 30 days since it was posted then it would make way for another with lots of 'likes'. I don't quite understand how the algorithm for the 'max 24h' panel works because the pictures that are displayed have been more than 24 hours 'old' but it's not a problem, more just something I've vaguely wondered about. Yes, I noticed one or two added, but most of them stay for days, causing me to look away from the rolling display. Too subtle, I think. I think it would be better to take an image out after a day, only adding it again when it gains a new thanks, if that is possible. I mean, a nice shot, that lady with guitar, but I do not need to see it more than 100 times, and that goes for the others like the beach sign, the room with reflections, the friendly gentleman, the smiling girl, etc. as well... Indeed, it has been the same for weeks. The Kodak beach, the Indian genleman, the room with reflections, the girl, the landscape with the path, the girl with the guitar, the sea cliff, the boats on the mud... Or at least I think we are. jaap and I are talking about the favourite images that appear in the right hand column when viewing the forum and scroll between four different images. I think you're talking about the images you see if you click on the Top Images button at the top of the forum page.
