jaapv Posted July 14, 2017 Share #21 Posted July 14, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does look like a sensor fault but I thought its only CCDs that cause the line with a stuck pixel? not cmos. Why Leica haven't included built in sensor remap in there cameras I don't know, I have a few stuck pixels on my M9 no lines if I want it fixed has to go all the way to Germay while my Canon 1dxs work cameras can do a sensor remap in about 2 minutes!CMOS sensors are exactly as prone to pixel damage, including lines, as CCD sensors are. There may be a difference in visibility caused by the strength of an AA filter or the on-sensor processing but that is all.

bozu_shutterbugger Posted July 14, 2017 Author Share #22 Posted July 14, 2017 I have a question: What is the ISO setting on those images? Varyin ISO.. the ones indoor is at 3200 on 35 f2.. while the grand central one was probably at 2000 at f4 on 16. i tried with various iso and various f stop. remains the same.. waiting on Leica to get back.. 250swb Posted July 15, 2017 Share #23 Posted July 15, 2017 For a stuck pixel it's curious that it fades out at each end of the line. I'd like to see an image where the middle of the line crosses a bright light source to see if it flares. I would also set the camera to an 8 second exposure with the lens cap on and shine a bright light all around the camera.
Berlinman Posted July 15, 2017 Share #24 Posted July 15, 2017 I had bad pixels on my M240, but the lines were vertical and black. Remapping at Leica solved it. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
