Stevie911 Posted June 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 26, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello folks. considering buying a Noctilux 50mm lens to use with my M10 and wondered if anyone has used this combo and can offer feedback/advice as to whether this works well particularly at nailing focus at 0.95f, either with the rangefinder of perhaps with the Visioflex EDF? Simon Posted June 26, 2017 Share #2 Posted June 26, 2017 Don't think, just do it! In all seriousness it's a legendary lens and the best (colour) digital M. What price for the best mirrorless FF?
phongph Posted June 26, 2017 Share #3 Posted June 26, 2017 Hi! M10 with Nocti 0.95 focus by: - RF is acceptable, - LV is easy, - EVF Visoflex 002: very easy - the best option. I tried this combo on my friend. My combo of M10, M Apo 50 and M Lux 75 have the same above result. Thanks!

digitalfx Posted June 26, 2017 Share #7 Posted June 26, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have never had issues with any Leica and the Noctilux...but keep in mind that depending on the situation your dof is extremely small...so just breathing will have an impact on focus. Many who have issues blame it on the camera when the truth is they are moving too much. When your dof is less than an inch and your body moves more than an inch...your focus will shift. The Noctilux takes practice...but I have no issues with the M10.
Ozytripper Posted June 26, 2017 Share #8 Posted June 26, 2017 For me focusing is not the issue. Weight is. I find it too front heavy and after a couple of hours of walking around my neck hurts. you might be bigger in stature and the weight might not be a concern.
