Thank you Jeffry.

Here is another shot from todays blizzard. I climbed on top of the roof at my work in just horrendous crosswinds in order to get this shot. :D

Adalsteinn,

wow, both your storm pictures are breathtaking! - What a magnificent light! This strange golden touch seems to be very eerie because it claims to indicate a warm glow. Great capture and proof of the potential of the "Q".

Wonderful atmosphere Adalsteinn. I really want to return to Iceland when i see such pictures, even in wintertime :)

Perhaps you want to be my aurora and landscape guide when i return, me and a friend have actually talked about going back for some aurora action and astrophotograpy.

North Iceland is the perfect place to be for aurora and landscape photography, especially now when the sun rises late and sets early. You are welcome any time! ;)

Thank you for your kind words Iduna. The conditions yesterday were very tough but as you pointed out the golden aura over the mountain of Kötlufjall really framed the picture nicely. Had actually a tough time standing strong on top of one of the roofs here in Hauganes to catch this shot, but fortunately I survived to post it here.  :D

I hesitate to respond to the forum there are too many great shots but I wanted to test the Q macro function. I'm an engineer by profession by profession but I love the chaos of nature. I tested the Q macro function and my 60 mm Nikon is better over all the Q impresses the Heck out of me I could not take the other shots from the day with the single lens
