Nope, metered whole scene and used exposure compensation. I was in the middle of doing long exposures at night, and this was a candid - so didn't give it that much thought.

Alright @dancook, WTF did you do to your beamer !? Or was it someone else's?  Those flames look scary.

Wasn't mine, but it was reasonably safe. A kevlar strap was soaked in white spirit and lit on fire - it was walked around during a long exposure to create an illusion of a wall of flame.
