Both a beautiful image and some wonderful, rich colours. Is this also SOC Jpeg?

Thank you for your kind words. Actually the morning sun was pretty low on the horizon and the sunlight very yellowish and harsh making this a very difficult shot in order to keep the colors in tact. I always shoot RAW+JPG, while I often really like the JPGS a hard lighting condition like this produced a completely black horse with no detail through the JPG image so RAW was the way to go here in order to infuse some details into the horse.

(Trying to post photos in this thread, but without any luck!)

I'm sorry, but does anybody know how to link to a photo over at 500px? I see people posting photos from their Flickr accounts, so I guess one should be able to do the same if you have an account with 500px instead. Or? Any help here would be very appreciated!

And yes, I did a search, but unfortunately I didn't find what I was looking for. If there is indeed a previous post regarding this matter, please be so kind and points me towards that one :)

Getting used to the Q and the different AFS types. Not so keen on multi point as the focus is all over the place.

The higher usable ISO's are also a bit of a breath of fresh air from what I'm used to.

Also quite like the app remote control for sneak shots. Just remember to turn the AF Assist light to off!

This was at the Wales vs Sth Africa game yesterday. Wales supporters in the frame!  :)

Go to the photo you want on 500px and copy the link. Paste it into the forum topic / reply, highlight and right click and copy. Click link (the chain icon) and paste the copied link into the URL box.

Makes sure it is https:// (remove the https:// from the front of your pasted link) and it should work. As below.

Cheers for helping out. Appreciate it! I've tried this method before, but it doesn't really do what I'm looking for. On photos that are being linked to e.g. Flickr, you can actually see the photo in this, or any other, thread. (edit- perfect example of what I mean, can be seen at the top of this page).

But when linking to 500px, you only get to see the link. Not sure how exciting it is to go in to a thread about photos and then having to click on a link to see the actual image... ;)

Yes, I see what you mean. Tried a number of the links BBC code and Media link but it does not appear to be working at all.

Exactly. I tried all those things as well, without any luck.

Would be nice if any of the moderators could pitch in here and let the forum know if there's a work around here (I mean, if it works with Flickr, why wouldn't it work with a popular site like 500px?) Thx!
