These types of colors prevent me from buying a Q.
Or is it the photographer's editing

Not as old as the previous poster’s tree but still going strong at at least 100 years old!

I like the colours as good change.  But they’re edited to the photographer’s taste I think.

I also believe they are the photographers creative choice.

Thank you - guess I should have been more explicit about the editing, since obviously these are not "typical Q" colors, although it might be a completely different discussion what any cameras "typical" colors are in times of RAW/DNG processing. However, for this photo I was simply trying/playing with the extreme contrasts and what I did was creating 3 virtual copies in LR with -2/0/+2 exposure adjustment and then merging those in NIK HDR Efex Pro2. Fully appreciate that taste is - like always - different and people like or don't like this style.

I prefer my HDR images like this. Pulling back Highlights and lifting shadows. Not a fan of HDR Efex.

But I do like the film look I can get with presets from VSCO

abstract art (through the car roof).. because we got surprised by some torrential down pour while setting up the tent..

waiting out the rain...

yeah, it's our MIni Paceman Cooper S. Great fun to drive but so far I've had more issues with that one in a half a year than I had with my Honda S2000 in the past 6 years..

I´m not a big fan of the EVF, but I find it very useable (and safe for your eyes!) when shooting welding...
