How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Head from mummy was CT scanned by the Radiography Dept of The Royal Duchy Hospital (Truro). Royal College of Art produced a 3D skull. Richard Neave (RN-DS Partnership) carried out forensic facial reconstruction - in wax. Finally cast in bronze (2/3rds size) ...precis from the description card at the museum. Edited by piran

Gunnera is a type of rhubarb. Grows tall enough to walk underneath the giant leaves - a slightly surreal experience given the pervasive green colour cast. Its thick stems carry sharp thorny prickly protection. The leaves die off and are used to cover the core stem over winter. New growth is weird. Edited by piran

Sold my Q a long time ago because its user experience just can't compare to M.

But every time I revisit my shots taken with it, I feel a pang of regret.

This is a tight 7 MP crop, taken in 2018.
