I got Ricoh GRIII yesterday. It's small, light and it's the kind of thing I want to walk around with everyday.

( BUT, Leica Q is still my favorite camera so far. :rolleyes:)

That you tried and are aware is the big battle. Had you a tripod and possibly a macro flash you could have used f/16. Possibly shifting the focus point to capture the fly the combining using focus stacking. Yours is a nice macro image regardless.

Converting color to B&W (which I assume you did, unless you shot it as a jpeg in B&W) is so very easy and yet so very easy to get wrong. If you did make decisions by converting a dng, I think you made all the right ones. A beautifully balanced photo!
