Thanks, Zampelis.

Glad you took spent a moment to look at the Auschwitz photos. What happened should never fade from our consciousness.

great shot in every way! were you standing in the water or hanging from the dock with the camera at water's edge?

Thank you! I was laying on a kayak platform holding the Q just above the waterline...shooting almost blind...

well worth the effort! I think this is why some folks wish that the LCD screen would tilt.

Our beautiful nephew. A really special young man. Look for him in the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo. He's rated #1 in the US; #5 in the world in two person Torso & Arms rowing. He was born with no lower legs. He is unstoppable as a super high performing and high integrity person.

awesome and inspiring, Dan. There are many things to worry us about our modern world, but the way in which people with differences are being accepted and celebrated is a watershed moment in the history of humanity.

Vikas,

The back story is Isaac was immediately rejected by his Korean parents at birth and placed into an orphanage. He was then moved between orphanages about every six months until he was adopted by my brother-in-law and wife at 4 1/2 years of age. I literally cannot imagine the psychological scars from that kind of rejection and so early in life.

Now with a seriously loving and supportive family encouraging him to be his best, he is thriving. Its very inspiring to all who know him.
