Realised I've not been utilising the actual colour channel information in my old Q files... To help my self-education (at driving my new Q2M files through Capture One's stuff) I used this Q file's colour information as an experiment to see what I might be missing by not fitting colour filters to the Q2M. May have caused some slight banding in the darkened sky but the clouds look more dramatic and the foreground foliage pops more.

Same as before but this time without using the colour information in Capture One's 'Color Sensitivity' tool (as a pseudo colour filter). YMMV

Difference may not be so obvious from the forum view, due to the forum's display algorithm. IOW you need to assess after clicking onto the image etc. Edited by piran

BTW the two converging vertical black scratch lines are parts of the building's construction. SINGLE piece of granite mined locally (Bodmin Moor) ...originally 167 tonne.

The cafe's lighting units appear to be something the extinct KRELL race, in the 'Forbidden Planet' sci-fi film 1956, might've designed. That clinker-build racing eight is similar to the old heavyweight one I used to row way - back at school. Its old pencil-style blades look to be in Cambridge colours. The patterns of light and shade stretched across the wood ceiling from the sunshine pouring through the sky vents I found interesting. As clouds scudded past the effect pulsed as though the roof spaces were alive and breathing. Odd. FWIW the soft pastel colours looked better than when converted into mono.

Almost certainly a Little Owl (favourite) but DOF out of-focus (to reduce the glass case effects) worked too well.
